Personal Background

My wife Jess and I were born in Minnesota and we have been lifelong residents. We love the people and the values that they hold as well as all the opportunities our great state provides. We grew up in the small town of Hector, lived in Shakopee for 19 years, and we permanently moved to our lake home in the New London-Spicer lakes area in 2020. We are proud parents of three children, Tate (who is attending South Dakota State University), Avery, and Beckett (who both attend New London-Spicer high school).

Jess and I and our family love to take advantage of all Minnesota has to offer. Some of our hobbies include water skiing, boating, golfing, playing volleyball, fishing, and hunting with our yellow labs Liberty and Milly. Along with all the outdoor activities we take part in, Jess also loves to decorate our home and she often helps me with suggestions and ideas for preparing my clients homes for sale.

One of my favorite pastimes is following all of our local sports teams. In addition to supporting our teams, I am actively involved as the public address announcer for New London-Spicer Wildcat Volleyball and Girls Basketball. Our family makes sure we take in a few Vikings, Twins, and Gopher volleyball games each year with family and friends.

My business career started in Marshall, MN where I attended Southwest State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration along with a Minor in Marketing. Before entering the real estate business, I previously worked as a personal banker. I have a very strong knowledge of the borrowing process and financial side of a real estate transaction. This experience allows me to easily guide my clients through the complicated process of finding the best possible financing options. I have also previously worked as a web production specialist which has given me the ability to use the internet and social media to best serve my clients by actively promoting my listings and providing resources to my buyers and sellers.

I am a licensed broker in the state of Minnesota and have overseen thousands of transactions since 2001 in both a broker and sales advisor capacity. My primary service areas include the Willmar/New London-Spicer lakes area, the Twin Cities metro area, Hutchinson, Buffalo Lake-Hector, and the Alexandria lakes area. My expertise includes all forms of residential real estate including lake homes, single family homes, townhomes, condos, and ag land.
